Raise It can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your Android device. A PWA is a type of website that looks and works like a regular app you can download from the App Store. Installing Raise It as a PWA on your Android device allows you to access it quickly from your home screen, just like any other app. Here’s how you can install the Raise It PWA on your Android device.

Requirements

  • An Android device with an up-to-date operating system.
  • Chrome browser (other browsers may also support PWA installation, but Chrome is recommended).

Steps to Install a PWA

1. Open Chrome

Open the Chrome app on your Android device. You need to use Chrome because it supports PWAs well.

2. Go to the Website

Type in the Raise It web address, ticket.raiseit.app, in the address bar at the top of Chrome and press "Go".

3. Open the Menu

Tap the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome window. This will open the menu.

4. Add to Home Screen

In the menu, look for and tap the option that says "Add to Home screen."

5. Confirm

In the pop up menu, look for and tap the option that says "Install". The PWA will be added to your home screen.

6. Done!

The PWA will now appear on your home screen just like a regular app. Tap the icon to open it.

How to Remove the PWA

If you no longer want the PWA on your home screen:

  1. Find the PWA icon on your home screen.
  2. Press and hold the icon until options appear.
  3. Tap "Remove" or drag the icon to the "Remove" area at the top of the screen.
